The weather today in Cochabamba

The weather in Cochabamba department varies according to the altitude. Cold in the mountains, moderate in the valleys, hot in the tropical forests. The Chapare area is of rain precipitation and considered one of the five more rainy areas of the world, with indexes higher than 5.000 mm a year. The weather is generally mild-dry during winter and mild-humid summers with an average temperature of 18º C.

Because Bolivia is in the Northern Hemisphere, its seasons are opposite to Europe and United States. In Bolivia, Winter is from June to August and Summer from December to March.
